BREXIT

As of 1st January 2021, the UK is no longer part of the EU’s customs union which ultimately affected shipping to most European countries. As a result, parcels may be subjected to customs and handling charges upon receipt.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE RATE ADJUSTMENT FEE

Youth Junk Studio is a UK based business and accepts all currency types.

For purchases made within the UK the Payment Processing Fees (the cost to process credit cards) will be 0% meaning you will not be charged. However, for Cross Border Transactions the buyer will be charged a Currency Conversion Fee (CCF) which is dependent upon the country in which the purchase is made.

The CCF will appear on your bank statement as "FOREIGN EXCHANGE RATE ADJUSTMENT FEE" and will be charged as a separate transaction to your original order. The Conversion Fee for UK based stores is 2% of the overall payment.

PLEASE NOTE: Youth Junk Studio does not keep the CCF. The payment provider responsible for the conversion (Shopify) will charge ourselves once the CCF has cleared. 

 

UNDELIVERABLE/RETURNED PARCELS

Due to multiple undelivered/returned orders over the past year we will now be charging customers to repost items. The cost to arrange re-delivery will be as shown below: 

  • United Kingdom - £3.00
  • North/Central/South Americas - £15.00
  • Rest of the World - £10.00

T&Cs :

  • Re-Delivery fee will only be charged if the item has not been delivered due to a customer error. For example, incomplete address. You will not be charged if the error is due to postal service.

  • Customer will NOT be entitled to a refund if they decide they no longer wish to receive the undelivered item as stated in our REFUND/RETURN policy.

  • To pay the redelivery charge you will be invoiced by ourselves with the fixed amount via the email address you provided at checkout.
